Spring Fever Mittens

The Interweave Crochet Preview is up and has some amazing sweaters in it. Myself, I only have a pair of mittens in it. But I might have to add one or two of those sweaters to my queue.

Le Interweave Crochet Preview est là. Moi, je n’ai qu’une petite paire de mittaines dedans, mais il y a des pulls magnifiques je trouve. Il y en a que j’ai bien envie de faire pour moi-même.

Die Interweave Crochet Vorschau ist da. Ich habe nur ein paar kleine Handschuhe drin, aber mir gefallen diesmal ganz besonders die Pullis. Davon kommen bestimme ein oder zwei auf meine Wunschliste.

    I made your mittens this weekend and found a few things in the pattern published by Interweave that may be errors. 1st were you make the Thumbhole the first round (lg mittens) you leave 8 unworked stitches and chain three then on the 2nd rnd you skip 15 stitches total 23 stitches un worked. it should be only 12. (56 - 44 = 12) Minor problem but should be pointed out. Also my thumbs turned out way to long after felting. Could have been the yarn I chose or maybe there are too many rows for the thumb. I clould still make out my rows and figured 9 rows would have been good. for my thumbs anyway. I really liked making them it was my second project felting with crochet and will definitely make another pair but with the adjustments I noted above. Thanks!
