I made sleeves!

A couple of weeks ago my absolute favorite crochet designer, Robyn Chachula, wrote this nice blog post about me. Needles to say that I went bright red reading this. I, too, wish I had a time machine and be able to design more. However, this is not possible, and I just have to manage the time I have, like everyone else. Obviously it’s not at all helping that I am all about sewing at the moment. But that might change next week or next month. I just can’t do it all, which is totally ok.
I just came home from my very first sewing lesson and I just might, one of these days, make something for myself, we’ll see…
For the time being I am quite proud that I managed to sew something with sleeves!

Ah, yes, and just in case you were wondering, the Ravelympics? Didn’t make it. At all.

Pattern: Albertine from Citronille, size 4 years on my 3 year old. It’s a bit big, but I like it.

Almost forgot the Flamies

Just a little reminder that (in case you missed it) tomorrow is the last day of voting for the Flamies. Here’s the blog post that leads you to the survey. I am nominated in the Best Designer Women’s Fashion Category for the Samira Sweater. I think I saw my name in another category, no? But I don’t remember where now and I can’t go back to the survey because I voted already.

Penmarch Beach Sweater

Oh my, it’s been a while. It’s really time for a new blog post. Especially because I have a new FO to share. Say hello to the Penmarch Beach Sweater. Apart from the neckline it’s based on the Omaha Beach Sweater. I gave up writing the pattern half way through because I got really bored with it and in the end I just wanted to finish the damn sweater. The biggest motivation in the end was, that I absolutely wanted to be able to photograph it while on holiday at the sea.

So whitout further ado, here are the pics:
